Suburban Vein Center is a comprehensive vein care facility that is founded on the principle of delivering personalized treatment to people suffering from varicose veins. Our founder, Dr. Hammam Zmily is a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist who also specializes in Cardiac CTA, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. Backed by his extensive training in treating varicose veins and other venous disorders, he is able to help patients manage the different aspects of vein disease.

Hammam Zmily is a board-certified Cardiologist at Premier Cardiovascular Consultants. He provides patient care at our locations in Troy, Taylor, and Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Zmily earned his medical degree at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He later moved to Detroit, Michigan to complete his internship at the Detroit Medical Center of Wayne State University. Looking to further his knowledge and skills to help others, he completed a cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology training at Detroit Medical Center.

Dr. Zmily stays up to date with the latest advances in cardiology as a member of both the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. As a skilled Cardiologist, he assists many patients dealing with a wide variety of cardiovascular issues. By taking the time to speak with each patient and hear their concerns, Dr. Zmily ensures that they receive the treatment they need to optimize their health.

Patients that require extensive treatments, such as cardiac catheterization, vascular interventions, carotid stenting, or venous ablations, can feel at ease with Dr. Zmily, who specializes in performing these procedures.

Theresa has diagnosed and treated varicose veins for over 10 years. She performs EVLA, RF ablation, Veanaseal, Varithena and visual schlerotherapy. Dr Zmily likes to do procedures, so usually you will find Theresa at Front Door Medspa, the sister company also located at Suburban Vein Center’s Rochester location. Theresa is a master injector and has injected more botox and facial fillers than most injectors in Michigan, if not the nation. She is certified in numerous med spa procedures and loves all types of procedures too, not just treating varicose veins!

Theresa grew up in Oakland Township, graduated from Rochester Adams High School, and is an Alumni of University of Michigan and University of Detroit. She enjoys the outdoors and has expansive perennial gardens. She likes to ride her bicycle, and learned to Kayak in Lake Superior!
